So its no secret to anyone who actually reads this blog that I am a huge fan of Topaz Adjust, a plugin filter for PS CS4 or Elements so when I heard there was a new filter by Topaz available I rushed over to download the demo and play with it.

Topaz Detail is the new plugin, it may at first appear to be similar to Adjust but I learned quickly its not.  It concentrates more on the creative details, the accents and the sharpness but doesn’t add noise, always a plus.

Here is an example of what it can do:

So there you go, same photo three looks but there are additional settings to get even more looks out of the original, I just haven’t played with them all.  I also understand it does really good B/W conversions, based on a few reviews I have read.  I may try that next.
